Albany House contains 71 units of accommodation in total. There are currently 12 citizens in receipt of care packages equating to 120 hours of care a week. For this contract Adult Social Care will have the option to nominate citizens into all new vacancies, with the intention to limit this to 50% of the total number of units. There will be an office space made available to the care provider by the landlord - Paragon Asra, at a monthly charge. The service is anticipated to commence at the beginning of November 2019. The contract will be in place for three years with potential to extend for a further three years. The contract value is currently estimated to be £98,727 pa (based on 12 citizens) with potential to increase to £290,106 pa (at 50% utilisation).
