Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) is part of a successful consortium, awarded funding from Innovate UK for the MultiCAV project. The MultiCAV project is a 30-month innovation project to implement a Mobility As A Service (MaaS) solution servicing passengers between Didcot Parkway Station and Milton Park. MaaS means the users will be able to book a combination of mobility modes (shuttles, taxis, bikes) from a single portal. One part of the innovation of this project is the use of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs) to deliver some of these transport modes.
