To minimised the risk of flood water ingress to the properties in the Scheme only BSI Kitemarked (PAS 1188:2009) flood defence products will be used, these will include; door barriers, 'smart' air bricks non-return valves for foul water systems and/or other appropriate methods. Where a relevant BSI Kitemark is not relevant for the aspect of work, the appropriate industry standard will be used as the benchmark for specific element of work to be carried out.
