In addition to supporting residents with their mental health needs, the service also supports residents with their physical care needs relating to pre-existing conditions or as a result of increasing age and frailty, including dementia in some cases. Residents may also present with challenging behaviours and dual diagnosis issues, such as alcohol misuse.
