The Commercial Services Division, CSD within the Commercial and Procurement Directorate support the delivery directorates to achieve good business outcomes by developing cost, time and supplier intelligence required for effective decision making. It also protects the commercial interests of Highways England through active contract and dispute management. Commercial Support is required in order to provide a service to the Commercial Delivery team. The Commercial Delivery team provide contractual advice and check and challenge services to Major Projects, MP, and Operations Directorate, OD, in support of investment decision making and associated scheme delivery. Challenges associated with Staff retention and recruitment, in this specialist area, means that support is vital.
