Homes England own the Tattenhoe site and have previously invested heavily in the infrastructure of the area. Since the implementation of Priestley Drive, the road has been subject to damage, some of which has been subject to remedial works e.g. patch repairs around ironworks on site. Based on the current condition Milton Keynes Council (MKC) will not adopt the highway, thus allowing Homes England to exit from this residual liability. Following consultation with MKC Highways a scope of Works has been agreed, which on completion will allow the road to be adopted. Works include resurfacing, line-marking and relocation of an existing bus stop. Additional information: The opportunity can be accessed via Homes England eTendering system.
