An asbestos survey undertaken in October 2018 identified the presence of asbestos in the main building and annex on the BHC compound as well as in the Residence. To facilitate a larger co-location project there is a requirement to remove asbestos prior to the main works commencing. All existing suspended ceilings and light fittings have been noted as contaminated and full replacement is required as part of the removal contract. In addition, to avoid removing the ceilings during the main works contract the asbestos removal contractor will be responsible for installing new mechanical ventilation and power & data trunking. Please see Supplier Questionnaire for further details. Additional information: Please submit your returned SQ and additional documents which can be uploaded in the general attachment area in the commercial envelope no later then 12:00hrs Friday July 19th 2019 ## CPV classification Asbestos removal services Source Contracts Finder (UK) [View official notice](https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/7334e84c-3f8a-4293-a5b3-970b99749a55) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
