Winchester City Council's Private Sector Housing is seeking suitable contractors capable of carrying out adaptations to client's bathroom to meet their assessed needs under the Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG). Works will typically include for the stripping out of existing fittings and replacement as a wet room. The extent of the works will vary from case to case and the extent of works required will be determined by an Occupation Therapist's assessment of needs. In addition the scope will include for the provision of a minor works service. Works under this heading will typically involve the fitting of simple adaptations (such as the installation of handrails).
