The University anticipates improved environmental performance over the course of the contract. This is expected to be achieved through a partnership approach with the appointed contractor, which will increase recycling knowledge and awareness throughout the staff and student body. The University also houses a number of tenants/third parties within its city centre estate (e.g. INTO Newcastle University, Northern Stage, Great North Museum, The Students Union). These parties may wish to join this agreement during the contract period. In the event they join the agreement, the contract will offer the same services described in this document at the same rates as the University to them. Additional third party sites may be added throughout the duration of the contract.
