The SDF is Care Quality Commission (CQC) approved.The SDF provides a placement opportunity for students studying the Certificate in Dental Nursing and BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy courses to achieve the skills and competencies needed to complete their studies. The students currently provide free dental treatments to Teesside University staff and students as well as the wider community in the Tees Valley area.
