## About this tender

Audit of property valuation undertaken by NHSPS expert (Montague Evans) as at 31 March 2019. The basic cost of the assignment is £23k + VAT, based on a sample size of 20, with no changes to the methodology since EY's last review. There is scope for this to increase in certain circumstances: if issues are found with the sample and it has to be extended to up to 30 sample items, and/or the methodogy has changed. The maximum quoted cost including this additional work is £36k + VAT . We have discussed all scenarios, and we would have to jointly agree any increase for it to be valid.

### The outputs expected on completion of the assignment

- A high level review of the methodology adopted by NHS Property Services and their valuers (Montagu Evans) to assess the reasonableness of the key assumptions and judgements in their methodology approach.
- A report that reviews the findings from the sample test of land and buildings to confirm that the methodology is appropriately and consistently applied.
