Currently the Council have in the order of 2000 lighting units which are comprised of 800 columns and 1200 bracket or direct to wall/ceiling fittings. There has been a programme over the last few years to convert to LED which it is wished to be carried on. It will be for the contractor to supply the LED units for all types of fitting.
