Local Authorities have an obligation to inform Parents and Young People of the possibility of resolving disagreements across Education, Health and Social Care through the Disagreement Resolution and Mediation Procedures. Education, Health and Social Care Providers should also have Complaints Procedures which, along with details about appealing to the Tribunal, should be made known to Parents and Young People through the Purchasers Information, Advice and Support Service.
