Coupled with significant investment by the University, this major funding will speed up our progress towards finding a solution to one of the world's greatest environmental challenges, plastic waste. As part of our research in this field, we require a microarray spotter. This will be used in a purpose built laboratory in the centre for printing DNA arrays and transcription templates to further the enzyme and molecular biology research that we are conducting.
