The Trust currently uses approximately 12 GWh of electricity per year and has future plans to install CHP as part of the trust's CEF Energy & Carbon reduction scheme during the next supply period (after July 2021) which will potentially vary the supply and demand of gas and electricity.The Trust is looking to appoint a supplier to work with over the coming years enabling the control of the commodity price exposure through a flexible procurement solution. It is envisaged that this will comprise a 36-month contract with an option to extend by 6 months maximum of two times - this option will be at the sole discretion of Derbyshire Support and Facilities Limited.
