Cefas wish to commission the installation of a tide gauge mounted on the newly constructed aggregate jetty at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. The jetty will be used for berthing vessels and unloading construction materials. A tide gauge is required for navigation purposes to ensure sufficient water depth for vessel operations, as well as providing a long-term record of tidal elevation.
