It is expected that computers will continue to improve in efficiency and effectiveness over the contract period. It is further expected that the next generation of systems will have a working lifetime of five to seven years, during which time they will not require any form of enhancement or upgrade. It is accepted that computers are typically provided with a three year warranty. The University uses Windows 10 on all corporate machines.
