HEE requires the provision of support to the specification and scope as outlined below. Public Health and prevention is a key part of the Midlands & East Transformation programme, that includes provision of Health Literacy awareness-raising training across Midlands and East together with delivery of "Train the Trainer" training. This will include promotion of the national Health Literacy toolkit, Skills for Health resources and Scotland's e-learning. The target audience will include primary and secondary care staff, fire and rescue services, job centre staff, community and voluntary services staff, local authority workers and social care staff. This is in line with our commitment to embed the principles of public health and prevention in the training of our workforce.
