They are currently the largest NHS pharmaceutical manufacturing unit in the UK and manufactures unlicensed and licensed essential pharmaceuticals and CE Marked Medical Devices across a wide range of therapeutic areas. Annual Turnover is circa £20m pa and all profits are returned to the NHS Trust. Following a comprehensive strategic review the strategy for the organisation has been defined and agreed implementation will commence early 2018 Torbay Pharmaceuticals (TP) are seeking to appoint a legal specialist in the field of Pharmaceuticals. TP are currently looking for specialist legal and commercial advise in regards to both domestic and international pharmaceuticals. In 2017 Torbay Pharmaceuticals completed a strategy program that has been signed off by the TP and the Trust board. TP's 5 year target is to double the business turnover. The growth will come from three main areas: - Export of existing products. - Contract manufacturing both in the UK and globally. - Move towards new product presentations such as prefilled syringes.
