This aligns to Sandwell Council's key principals of tackling inequality and reducing poverty. A significant element of the scheme is to provide second hand furniture and household items in order to support vulnerable residents to live independently. The Council currently engages with voluntary sector organisations who deliver these items on behalf of the Council.
