The intention of this Prior Information Notice is to ascertain from the supply chain whether the manufacturing proposal is feasible, if they foresee any inherent risk (manufacturing, functionality, etc.), if the tolerances of critical dimensions can be achieved and if it will realise the benefits in time and cost.
