Able to accommodate testing of cables up to a maximum length of 150m with potential voltage levels of interest. This will also be used to test cables with simulated submarine operational stresses including accelerated aging and thermal cycling. - Lot 2High Current Induction Rig - able to accommodate testing of cables up to a maximum length of150m with potential voltage levels of interest. This will also be used to test cables with simulated submarine operational stresses including accelerated aging and thermal cycling; and - Lot 3Upgrade of existing laboratory equipment for superimposed impulse testing of HVDC cables - using the ORE Catapult' existing 1 MV DC power supply to carry out superimposed impulse testing.
