Please disregard any content in this notice that requests your organisation "to apply directly to the buyer" as this unfortunately a system generated error, that is outside of the Contracting Authorities control. ### The fast confocal microscope system covered by this requirement is intended to provide the Laboratory of ### Molecular Biology in Cambridge with a high-speed multichannel fluorescence imaging system capable of super-resolution imaging and optimised for live sample imaging (minimised photo bleaching and phototoxicity). The system shall be capable of fluorescence imaging of live cultured cells, motile live cells, freely moving small model organisms and of live tissue explants. We are looking for a 'latest generation' instrument that offers improvements in imaging performance over our existing spinning disk confocal microscope. Additional information: All submissions will be assessed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for procurement values that exceed Regulation 5 (Threshold amounts). This procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Service's e-Sourcing Suite.
