WTE/Workshop manages a wide range of metal, wood working and garage machinery at more than 180 locations in the UK and overseas. In order to maintain the serviceability of the legacy equipment, its operational output and most importantly, the safety of the operators, this contract for the supply, servicing, repair and commissioning/de-commissioning of metal, wood working and garage equipment was placed. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Only one technically compliant response to the PQQ was received following Contract Notice. It would therefore not be possible to demonstrate Value For Money under the initial procedure. As such, the decision was made to switch to Single Source procedure, where any tender would be assessed under Qualifying Defence Contract rules. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ The Core Contract duration is 2 years (until 30/9/2020), with 2 1-year Options.
