The Civic Offices are located on Lodge Road, (NN11 4FP) within Daventry Town centre. The works are being undertaken to improve fire protection provisions within the Civic Offices, following a recent Fire Risk Assessment. The Council intend to enter into an agreement under a new NEC4 (Engineering & Construction) Short Form Contract (ECES). The Contract is to be executed as a Deed. The existing Fire Escape Staircase (Serving the Council Chamber) has been deemed unsuitable during a recent FRA Assessment, requiring replacement with a suitably designed replacement.
