The Contract will run for an initial period of 12 months with the option to extend annually to a maximum period of three years subject to funding arrangements. The Council currently has a scheme in place which is due to expire on 31st May 2018. The Council is looking to continue with a Healthcare Cash Plan Scheme which would provide the maximum benefit to its employees at a cost of �1 per week (or less) per employee. The scheme must provide and be able to facilitate corporate paid weekly premiums for the range of basic benefit provisions contained within a generic healthcare cash plan scheme, for all employees of Chorley Council and the scheme must be able to support and maintain a minimum range of benefits to include:  Optical cover  Dental cover  Specialist Consultation appointment and tests  Health Screening  Therapy treatments to include such cover as physiotherapy, osteopathy and chiropractic  Chiropody  Prescriptions Further details are contained within the ITQ and Specification.
