ICaL is in the process of upgrading its aberration corrected JEOL 2100 (with UHR pole-piece) to provide a sub-sampled ptychography capability for high resolution STEM imaging and is looking for an in-situ biasing stage to be used in conjunction with the new imaging methodology for the study of electrochemical energy storage systems. As a consequence the University is looking to tender for a new biasing stage that is capable of controlling electrochemical function under high resolution and low-dose imaging conditions. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.Please note the return date for the Tender is 06/07/2018 at 12 noon.
