The LHNA must be compliant with the National Planning Policy (NPPF), the requirements of the Planning Practice Guidance (PPG) and assist the authorities with the Duty to Cooperate. The purpose of the LHNA will help to inform the production and review of local plans and housing strategies by providing robust evidence of housing needs in Gloucestershire.
