Social prescribing is an approach to healthcare that recognises that people's health, emotional and practical needs are all connected. Meeting people's non-medical needs can benefit their health and wellbeing. It enables a range of professional including GPs, nurses and other health and social care professionals to refer (or 'prescribe') people to a range of local, non-clinical services. ### The services comprise:- - Provision of practical support to vulnerable people.
