As part of the UK Collaboratorium for Research on Infrastructure and Cities, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, Newcastle University hosts the UK's National Green Infrastructure Facility, which is exploring how vegetation and soils can manage water quantity and quality.
