DfE wishes to appoint a due diligence supplier to support the set up of the Sandwell Children's Social Care Trust. The due diligence supplier will report to the DfE contract manager and Commissioner on progress on delivery, which will inform decisions about the nature of the Department's intervention. The overarching intention is that services for children and young people in Sandwell must be high quality, meet financial objectives and be sustainable. Creating an independent and professionally led organisation is considered the best way to realise this ambition. Note: Bidders interested in this requirement should be aware that they must allow at least 6 full working days before the competition closing date of 4pm on 18 October 2017.
