The Contract is anticipated to commence in January 2019. Contractors proposals are required in the form of a programme to provide details of the best way of completing the works. However Tenderers should note that Windsor House is the priority and should be commenced first. Given the geographical area of the 2 main areas (Whitstable and Herne Bay) the most economical method of completion is required. Sectional completion will be considered and please make your proposal to us within the response. See quality question for response required. It is a condition of the Invitation to Tender that all contractors attend site visits in Herne Bay and Whitstable, which will be on different days, and will be allocated on a first come basis. Any contractor who does not visit BOTH sites will be disqualified from the tender (see 2.2.8 for further details). Important Notice: Suppliers should in the first instance register themselves on the Kent Business Portal by following registration instructions. After registering suppliers are asked to express their interest in this opportunity, after which suppliers will be able to access and download all the required documents attached to this notice.
