As a result, further discussion and review is required regarding this service, as part of the STP development and planning, to ensure it is consistent with the STP requirements and that it will deliver against the triple aim as set out in the Five Year Forward View. Therefore NHS Nene and Corby CCGs have decided to pause any further progress on the procurement of the community diabetes MDT service. STPs will be subject to formal assessment in July 2016.
