The function of pottery from up to 100 Neolithic sites between the Urals and the south-west Baltic coast will be investigated, through multiple scientific analyses of organic residues. The project includes the largest dating programme ever undertaken on early pottery in this region. We are looking to engage with up to three radiocarbon dating laboratories.
