There may be the occasion where young people will remain in supported accommodation post 18 years of age, where all parties agree that it is in the best interests of the young person to do so. Providers will be required to accept housing benefit when the young person turns18 years of age. • Accommodation and support for Care Leavers aged 18-21 years or until they finish their education / training programme (24 years) or up to 25 years if they are a disabled young person.
