Services are likely to include; • Cleaning (including window cleaning and peripheral services, e.g., emergency response as required and deep cleaning); • Catering - Patient feeding (mainly cook-freeze); • Catering - Retail; • Porter services (mobile and site based); • Linen and laundry; • Domestic services including housekeeping; • Reception services; • Central services (Telephony; Switchboard; Help desk) • Post room services; • Courier services; • Pest control; • Security (site and mobile patrol) issuing of access cards; • Waste management (clinical waste, black bag waste, recycling, pharmaceutical waste and feminine hygiene); • Curtain/ blinds cleaning; • Car parking services; • Receipt and Distribution; • Grounds and Gardens. Services are likely to extend across the smaller Mental Health satellite sites in SE London, Queen Mary's in Sidcup, some services at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich. It is anticipated that there will be vested principles applied to this contract, which will look at innovative models to deliver and improve the quality of services and reward mechanisms.
