The new service will comply with the Southwark Ethical Care Charter which establishes a minimum baseline for safety, quality and dignity of care by ensuring fair employment conditions for home care staff. The service is also designed to improve the outcomes for children and young people and to put the child or young person and their family right at the centre of the commissioning of care packages so that they are empowered to have choice and control over their care.
