The service seeks to provide a consistent, comprehensive, effective, accessible, legal and appropriate abortion service to service users. The AQP framework period will be for an initial term of 5 years, with a possible extension of any period(s) up to a further 2 years, as defined and at the discretion of the Commissioner. Services are planned to commence from 1st April 2018. The Commissioner has a total budget available of £261,000 per annum. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
