The British Geological Survey are looking to upgrade our multibeam and backscatter acquisition system to enable us to deploy it on small, near-shore survey vessels. BGS own and operate a small 9 m Cheetah catamaran called the White Ribbon. The equipment currently aboard this vessel is coming to the end of its working life. The White Ribbon has a permanent mount, but it envisaged the new system will be mobilised on a variety of small vessels of opportunity. The new system must therefore be easy to set-up, transport and mountable on a customised over-the-side pole. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System.
