The Electoral Services department compiles the electoral register for the whole of the Arun District as well as administering all elections/referenda held within the area. Circumstances in Arun mean that we have district and parish/town council elections in a 4 year cycle. We also hold a number of unplanned local by-elections throughout the year due to casual vacancies. We have carried out a large number of neighbourhood plan referendums but have a few remaining to complete as well as a number who wish to carry out a second referendum in the future.
