The Masterplan for the area was adopted in principle in December 2017 and the Council is now working with residents to take the project forward. There are currently over 500 residents in Council owned blocks, 306 tenants and 196 leaseholders, within the renewal area. In Year 1, the successful provider will lead on working with residents to establish a Residents' Engagement Panel and provide support to residents involved in the options assessment design groups. The provider will advise residents on key issues relating to the offer by Westminster City Council to its tenants and leaseholders and ensure there is an effective two-way channel of communication. Westminster places residents at the center of its work and expects the independent advisors to offer a high quality, ethical and trusted service to tenants and leaseholders.
