ENT care is a specialty where patients have traditionally been seen in secondary care even though some of this activity could be delivered within a community setting. HVCCG are seeking a new model of care for an Enhanced Community ENT Service that will provide triage, assessment and management of a range of ENT conditions which will reduce the number of secondary care outpatient attendances and offer high quality care closer to home. The CCG intends to procure a consultant-led community service to offer a one stop service for all appropriate ENT assessments, diagnostics and treatments. The service will need to operate in each of our four localities. The contract is expected to be for 3 years plus an optional extension of 2 years and will commence on the 1st November 2018. The 3 year contract value is expected to be in the region of range of £1.5 to £2m. The procurement is expected to go live in early February 2018 and documentation will be available to interested suppliers through the ProContract System e-portal.
