The successful Provider will need to demonstrate that they can deliver service(s) of a continuously high-quality and will be responsive to the needs of the local population. The Provider will be assessed on an on-going basis to ensure they deliver the quality required. The services must be provided by GPs and Nurses and the Provider will be expected to deliver: • High quality Primary Medical Services responsive to the needs of the population • Promotion of healthy living with the aim of tackling the underlying causes of ill health • Essential services • All additional services • All Enhanced Services commissioned by NHS England, the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and the local council • Increased access through the innovative use of technology The Contract will be for a minimum period of 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months. The contract for this service will be the NHS Standard APMS Contract, with an anticipated Service commencement date of March/April 2017.
