Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise partnership (GLLEP) are partners in Interreg's COTEMACO project, which aims to enhance innovation performance of enterprises throughout North West Europe. Beneficiaries participating in Territorial Co-operation Programmes such as the COTEMACO project are required to procure a 'first level controller' to verify the eligibility of the expenditure they have incurred in the project so that it can be reimbursed by the Programme authorities. This will mean a maximum of six monthly reports to be submitted to Interreg, each of which will require the 'first level controller' to audit any expenses incurred by GLLEP in the specific six month period.
