Part of this unit includes a practical flying element to demonstrate key concepts as applied to a conventional aircraft and reinforce the learning outcomes of the Flight Dynamics unit. These flights are conducted in the 3rd year and consist of a 30-minute flight in a 2-seat training glider operated by the Bristol and Gloucestershire Gliding Club (BGGC). This procurement aims to secure a flying asset for the University of Bristol Department of Aerospace Engineering.
