The existing single storey wing will be partially demolished, removing ancillary rooms, small lavatory provision and associated circulation. The four existing classrooms contained within this wing are to be retained. The demolished portion is then to be replaced by a new 2 storey element, comprising 8 additional classrooms, 2 support classrooms (each divisible to provide smaller break out spaces), 4 groups of lavatory provision, horizontal and vertical circulation (incorporating a lift to the first floor) and ancillary space for cleaners, storage and such.
