The Procurement Board, on behalf of the above commissioners, has shared vision for all children, young people, families and carers which is straightforward: We want all children and young people in Devon to have the best start in life, growing up in loving and supportive families, and being happy, healthy and safe. Children and young people and their families and communities will have access to a personalised, sustainable and co-ordinated system of care and support which meets needs early and improves their quality of life so that they can live well throughout life and make the most of the choices and opportunities available to them. As part of this process, and driven out of our ongoing work with service users, the current service model and our extensive pre-procurement work, the following Critical Success Factors have been drafted: - A high quality integrated, personalised model of provision that can respond to the holistic needs of a child or young person and their families - Seamless pathways of care and support that transcend policy, organisational and service boundaries - Sustainability of provision by ensuring best value for money without reliance on additional investment - An high quality offer of local, universal support with timely access to targeted and specialist services that takes account of the learning from service users and significant others - Improved opportunities for children and young people at transition points in their life These success factors are vital to the successful delivery of services for the service users across the whole of Devon, and will be the thread weaved throughout this whole process. The event itself will be an opportunity for providers to be updated on the progress to date. The lead Commissioner will be in a position to share the DRAFT service specifications ahead of the event to allow time for providers to review and prepare any questions in readiness for the event. The event structure will be a short overview presentation of where we are now followed by an update on the procurement process. After coffee this will be the opportunity to visit each service specific table for Q&A sessions. The commissioners wish to encourage you to come prepared with your questions which you may have from the shared service specification. These will be shared via email directly with you on Monday 16th October 2017 and will be available on the CCG website from the 18th October (see link below) Additional information: The event structure will be a short overview presentation of where we are now followed by an update on the procurement process.
