It is recognised that it is in the best interests of most young people aged 16-17 to live in the family home or with responsible adults within their wider family network. Unfortunately, there will be occasions where it is untenable for the young person to do this and resultantly they become at risk of becoming homeless. Consequently, Wirral Council is seeking to provide up to six (6) young people, aged 16 & 17, with safe and secure emergency accommodation and access to advice, assistance and advocacy for a short period.
