There is however no obligation to award the contract/s following this tender exercise. The aim of the exercise is to award a range of services within the specified financial envelope. The overall contract value is £97,000. Providers will need to demonstrate best value both at the point of tender and through the lifetime of the contract. It is expected that contract values will vary between services/providers due to differences in outputs, activity and complexity of need/age. Therefore providers must clearly outline in their tender submission the level and type of service they aim to provide and the cost of this service.
