Any contract arising from this procurement will be between the successful Provider and NHS England (National Health Service Commissioning Board). The procurement will consist of 11 Lots. The maximum number of Lots awarded to a single Bidder will be limited to 4 (Not more than 3 (three) lots from Lots 1 -8 plus not more than 1 (one) lot from Lots 9-11). The successful Provider for each Lot will be awarded the contract included within the tender documents and will be responsible for delivery of the overall PET-CT Service in accordance with the Service Specification and Contract, however NHS England will mandate the Provider of Standard Tracers for that Lot. The Standard Tracer Provider for each Lot will therefore be a nominated subcontractor to the PET-CT Service Provider for that Lot. Selection of the Standard Tracer Provider for each Lot will be the subject of a separate procurement The Standard Tracers are: • FDG (18F - fluorodeoxyglucose) • FEC (18F - fluoro-ethyl-choline); • FMC (18F - fluoro-methyl-choline); and • NaF (18F - Sodium Fluoride) Bidders must, as a minimum, submit proposals to deliver PET-CT Services utilising Standard Tracers. In addition Bidders may offer to provide PET-CT Services utilising Non-Standard Tracers.
